This small plate was made from a slab of light, speckled clay. The design was hand-stamped using stamps made from polymer tiles crafted in our studio. As a result, every piece is unique.
This vessel will adorn any interior and become your companion during daily rituals. You can place lit palo santo or sage on it. It's perfect for displaying jewelry and minerals. You can also use it to serve refreshments to visiting guests.
To achieve color contrast, the vessel was painted twice with ceramic paints—first before the bisque firing and a second time before the final firing.

Samāsa represents a new creative direction we wish to pursue—combining magical geometry, color, and tactile textures. Working with photopolymer stamps opens up new possibilities, and we feel it will lead us to exciting places.
Note: This plate is not suitable for placing hot coal on it.
We recommend hand washing.
